Buying a Home Is Intimidating. Your Agent Shouldn't Be.
I moved to Austin from New Jersey for the music and never looked back. Four years in real estate and I still get excited every single time a client gets their keys. Whether you're a first-time buyer trying to make sense of it all or a homeowner ready for the next chapter, you'll get someone who picks up on the first ring, explains everything in plain language, and treats your home search like it's her own.
I work with people at every stage of the process. Whether this is your first rodeo or your fifth, I bring the same level of attention and the same energy.
My Story
About Dana
I grew up in Freehold, New Jersey and moved to Austin because the music scene, the food, and the energy of this city just made sense to me. Before real estate, I spent almost a decade in the beauty industry. It was a completely different world, but it taught me how to listen, how to make people feel comfortable, and how to build trust fast. When I made the jump to real estate four years ago, I knew I loved helping people and wanted to do it in a more impactful way. Turns out, walking someone through the scariest financial decision of their life and making it actually feel manageable? That's my thing. If I weren't doing this, I'd probably be in event planning or marketing because I love the creative side of bringing something together for someone. My goal has always been pretty simple: I want to be a light in people's lives. Whether that's because I helped them find the right home or because I made the whole process feel a little less scary.
First-Time Buyer Goes From 'Terrified' to Homeowner in Under 60 Days
One of Dana's clients came to her as a renter who wasn't sure buying was even an option. Dana connected her with a trusted lender from her network, walked her through every step, and made the whole process feel clear and manageable. Two months later, she was a homeowner. Her words: she went from being terrified to being absolutely floored.
What Working With Me Actually Looks Like
Genuine care, not a sales pitch. That's the difference.
I'm fast, and my clients will back that up. I respond quickly because I know how stressful it is to wait when you have questions about something this big. But it's not just about speed. I listen closely, I remember the details that matter to you, and I adjust to how you like to communicate. I pay attention because those little things end up being the difference between a good decision and the right one.
I build genuine connections, not transactions. When you work with me, you're not getting handed off or lost in a system. You're getting someone who truly gets to know you, advocates for your best interests, and is always straight with you. If a deal doesn't make sense for you, I'll be the first one to say so.
Responsive
Lightning-fast responses because I know waiting is the worst part.
Detail-Oriented
I listen closely and adjust to how you like to communicate.
Honest
I'll tell you to walk away from a deal if it's not right for you.
Connected
Trusted lenders, inspectors, and vendors I'd send to my own family.

More Than Real Estate
Two-Stepping, Live Music, and Austin's Food Scene
When I'm not helping clients find homes, you'll probably find me on a two-stepping dance floor, diving into Austin's food scene, or soaking up live music somewhere I haven't been yet. I moved here for the energy of this city, and I've made it my mission to know it inside and out.
I share a lot of this on my Instagram (@danafisher_atx) because I think knowing Austin this well actually makes me a better agent. When you ask me about a neighborhood, I'm not reading from a spreadsheet. I'm telling you what it actually feels like to live there.
Wealth Wednesday and Friendships That Stick
Every Wednesday, I post financial tips and real estate education on my Instagram because I believe everyone deserves to understand how building wealth through real estate actually works. It's not flashy. It's just honest information, no strings attached.
Some of my closest friends started as clients. I don't disappear after closing. I'm the person you'll still text when your AC makes a weird noise or you need a restaurant recommendation for your parents visiting from out of town.
Frequently Asked Questions
Not even a little. First-time buyers are honestly my favorite people to work with. I love breaking everything down in plain language and making the whole process feel clear and manageable. I'll walk you through every step, answer every question, and make sure you feel confident about what's happening. That's what I'm here for.
Absolutely. I help renters find apartments, I help landlords find reliable tenants, and I help people who are currently renting figure out when buying might make sense for them. Actually, one of my favorite client stories started exactly that way. Someone came to me looking for a rental, we talked through her situation, and she ended up buying her first home two months later. You just never know.
Because I actually live in it. I'm out two-stepping, trying new restaurants, catching live music, and exploring different parts of the city all the time. I share a lot of it on my Instagram (@danafisher_atx) because I think knowing Austin this well actually makes me better at my job. When you ask me about a neighborhood, I'm not reading from a spreadsheet. I'm telling you what it actually feels like to live there.
Definitely not. Some of my closest friends started as clients, and that's not an exaggeration. After closing, I'm still the person you text when you need a good contractor or when your AC starts making a sound you've never heard before. I also post Wealth Wednesday tips on Instagram every week to help past and future clients think about building wealth through real estate. The relationship doesn't end at closing. That's kind of the whole point.
Honestly, that's one of the best conversations we can have. I'll look at where you are financially, what the market is doing in the areas you're interested in, and what your actual goals are. Sometimes the answer is yes, let's go. Sometimes it's hold off six months and here's exactly what to do in the meantime. I will always shoot it straight with you. If buying right now doesn't make sense, I'll tell you that. I've turned down deals because they weren't in my client's best interest, and I'd do it again.
