About Matt

I grew up in Houston and came to Austin for college. Somewhere between late-night study sessions at UT McCombs and my first real market deep-dive, I realized real estate was what I wanted to build a career around. What started as curiosity in my latter years of university turned into a path I never looked back from. Fifteen years later, I'm still driven by the same thing: the moment a client stops feeling anxious and starts feeling confident, because someone actually did the work to earn their trust. I also co-founded CRE Haus, where I advise on commercial real estate across Texas. But residential is where it started, and helping people build their lives in this city never gets old.

Houston kid, Austin lifer. I came here for UT and never left. This city got under my skin the same way real estate did. Most weekends you'll find me watching Longhorn athletics, walking the dogs with my morning coffee, or spending time with family and a tight circle of friends who've been around long enough to keep me honest.

And then there's Topo Chico, a 200-pound tortoise who has full run of my backyard. If you've never seen a tortoise move through life with that level of unbothered confidence, it's aspirational. He's also the best icebreaker in any first meeting.

I also take on fewer clients so I can be fully present for each one. I've helped clients relocate from Hawaii, across Texas, and from multiple other states. I know the neighborhoods, the school districts, the commute patterns, and the things that don't show up on Zillow.
